What it does

What it does, one piece at a time.

Your own sounds

Upload music, ambience and effects once, several at a time or by dropping files on the mode, and they are there in every campaign. Rename a sound, set it to loop, and set its volume from 25 to 100 percent, before or while it plays.

  • Put any sound on the Board as an audio card
  • Add it to a playlist
  • A file that is not audio is refused, with the reason

Built-in music

477 pieces of music are ready for every game master, and they count against nobody's storage. Each is listed by what it sounds like, such as a lively tavern or swashbuckling pirate action.

  • Filter by Style: orchestral, Celtic and medieval, fantasy, ambient, horror, stingers and more
  • Filter by Feel: tense, mysterious, majestic, relaxed, happy and more
  • Short finds stingers and intros under a minute

Playlists

Put your sounds and the built-in music in an order. A playlist plays its tracks one after another, or shuffled, on a loop or once, with a crossfade laying the next track over the last.

  • Shuffle makes a new order each round, never opening with the track the last round ended on
  • Next skips with a short fade
  • A playlist plays at its own volume

On the Board, and in every mode

Audio and playlist cards on the Board play from the card. Sound plays on in every mode, with a Now playing panel that shows what is on, with its own pause and stop, and a master volume.

  • Pause or resume everything at once, or stop it all
  • A live Talk pauses the music
  • Volume is kept on this device

See it work

Press play, and keep playing.

A track plays through the same engine as the Board's audio cards, so it carries on while you move from tool to tool.

Good to know

What it does not do.

  • Sound plays through your own device. Players' phones get no audio.
  • Your uploads count against your storage. The built-in music does not.
  • Deleting a sound removes its file, unless a Board card still plays it.
